OUR VINEYARD SITES
For a long time, Thörnicher Ritsch was listed among the great sites on the Mosel. The characteristics of the various parcels can be easily tasted. Thus each plot is vinified separately. The Riesling vines in the core part of Thörnicher Ritsch have an immense potential for premium wines. This is where concentrated, spicy Rieslings with ethereal, almost smoky notes originate. The southwest-facing parcels on Ritsch, with younger vines, have a subtle fruitiness, coupled with lively minerality. In this area of the site are our village-designated Rieslings.
